I haven't been able to blog for ages due to exams :( but I'm back and raring to go again!
Firstly I thought I'd share with you another photo of the sky which I took on another early morning walk to the bus, this really is becoming a regular thing! I just can't ignore how pretty it looks and have to stop and capture it.
Can you see how I couldn't just walk along without taking a photo now?!
Secondly, is anyone else aware about the Hello Kitty range in Superdrug? It's so cute, god knows what the quality of any of products are like but c'mon the lipsticks have Hello Kitty's head on the top and the nail varnish bottles are in the shape of Hello Kitty's head; if I had £2.49 kicking about I'd actually buy one of the nail polishes to see what it was like and if it was horrific then I'd still be able to sit it in my room so it could look all nice and cute!
Finally, I went to Ikea before Christmas, yes before Christmas and I'm only doing a post on it now! I really am hopeless but I took some photos whilst I was there and I thought I'd just pop them in a post.
When I have my own place I want a sofa like one of these! I love the Union Jack one but that crazy patterned one is just so different and fun.
I thought this combo was lovely; the delicate lacey design goes so nicely with the pretty, rusty coloured curtain.
German books, I'd expect no different in Ikea! The poopy quality from my phone camera shows in this one, sorry about that :/
The colour of these plates and bowls is so lovely and the wavy detail around the bowls gives them a bit of a vintage feel. The photo frame is also so, so nice, I love frames with intricate detailing.
Look, they had Christmas decorations up! *Regrets not making this post sooner*
:/
I loved the vintagey look appearing in a lot of their display, that jug of flowers is simply gorgeous. However, that candle with the sticker around it will not quit bugging me as it has pretty much sabotaged the photograph!
I thought I'd take a more arty photo of it through a vase.
I thought this tray looked very Cath Kidston-y and instantly fell in love with it's floral design but it was a TRAY for goodness sake and I don't even have my own kitchen!
Love, love, love this. What's not to love!? The cute little floral design is just the best and the lace curtain just makes it look even more delicate and feminine. LOVE.
These prints are so gorgeous and look like they've been pulled out of an old plant book. I love the fact that they're also in white frames on a really cute light pink wall.
I don't think the wall's cute, I think the colour is. Just to confirm. Oh god, hahaa.
Such a cool wardrobe! I think this would be enough to jazz up any room.
Okay, so if you've ever been to Ikea then you'll know that they sell some pretty random stuff and throughout the store there were these baskets full of rats getting bigger and bigger. They were meant to be for children but we (my mum, older sister and I) bought a small one for our puppy as a toy and a big one for my little sister who's one year younger than me, 15, for a joke Christmas present which we all found pretty funny.
I hope that this blog has given you a bit of interior inspiration, or inspired you to pop out to Ikea or if you just enjoyed having a quick look.
It's been great to get back to doing a bit of blogging!
Until next time,
Frankie xx
