Hello! Being a family that doesn't really do holidays we made the most of our recent trip which was a week away in Cheshire at the Pony Club Championships. I dabble in riding but both my sisters spend a lot of time and money keeping their horses and training to the level that they're at. Qualifying for the championships is a big thing in itself so I was proud that they both managed to qualify, my youngest sister, Lily, in the Dressage section which is working on the flat with no jumps, whilst my oldest, Kate, in the Eventing section, which includes dressage, show-jumping (poles that they jump) and x-country (big fences across a few fields). Since my role was limited I took it into my hands to be the photographer for the week and managed to get some really nice snaps of them competing.

It's the kind of event that has various stands which sell horse-related items. There was one shop which sold socks but no ordinary socks as they are like tights material which keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter which is perfect for horsey and outdoorsey people as I can tell you that cold feet is the worst thing bar cold hands. They were in an array of amazing designs but in the end I decided on some in a pretty vinatgey floral design but could hardly pick because there was so many! My sisters bought a tie-dye pair (very hipster!) and a pop-art, comic pair. The website is www.soxtrot.com, honestly they've got some amazing designs, it's really worth checking out :).
Whilst away we went out for tea, the make-up that I packed was very limited (BB cream, concealer, mascara, eyeliner and lipstick) as I hadn't been wearing any all week and had it just in case we went out so when we did I was left wishing I'd bought some blusher but then realised that my lipstick would make a brilliant substitute and turned out like cream blush and matched the tone of my lips which was a bonus! I used Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 101.
Spending a week without internet was tough, I usually check my e-mails and subscription box on YouTube daily and spend quite a bit of time on my laptop. It made me realise that I spend too much time on it not doing anything like scrolling through twitter and watching videos on YouTube that I don't really want to watch but can't be bothered to do anything else. I am now determined to try and use my time productively off the computer but also productively on it, instead of going on facebook or twitter I could be blogging or making a video!
Until next time,
